I don’t go to a lot of car meets (because they usually get shut down quick) but a local Nissan/Infiniti group has had some success hosting car meets about at a nearby restaurant, so I’ve gone to a couple. Last night was probably the biggest turnout thanks to the weather.
The meet was open to cars of all types, and all types of cars showed up! There were strict no revving, no loud music, no burnouts typical rules that normally don’t get followed. Most of the cars pulling in were loud. Straight pipes and aftermarket exhausts galore. Glorious turbo noises from various Golf GTIs. A couple of cammed Vettes. And then this:
A GTS-R. A GTS-T with an RB26 conversion and a fat Garrett turbo. The moment this guy pulled in, his car was swamped.
One of my favorites, especially for that ankle biter/angled exhaust tip.
My first car was a 04 xB and I used to go to a lot of Scion events. This car was ALWAYS there. It’s based on a Hot Wheels model too! It’s a bit rough around the edges almost 7 years after it first hit the scene but it was still awesome to see it on the road.
A drift car showed up. Convertible 240sx with fat tires and no interior.
Catching some Zs
Overall a fun night and I’ll be going again the next time one of these meets comes up.

YO!!!!!!! YOO!!!!!!!
I saw a low riding go kart wheeling Scion XB the other day and thought of you man. I couldn’t grab the shot, but the closest thing on google is this...
It had wheels in this type of wide style, but it was not purple it was grey or something.
